Are TradingView alerts server-side?

All Tradingview alerts are ‘Server-side’. Which means all preset alerts are created and triggered on Tradingview’s servers. Users don’t need to have their computers or Tradingview running for an alert to trigger and receive alert notification.

How do I remove a TradingView alert?

To remove all alerts below ‘Manage Alerts’ click on the settings button in the ‘Alerts’ sidebar (see next image). Then either choose ‘Delete All Inactive’ or ‘Delete All’. The first option removes all paused, inactive alerts. With the second option we remove any and all TradingView alerts.

How does TradingView work?

TradingView runs the order via broker emulator. Strategy alerts, on the other hand, works by alerting users once an order is successfully executed using the strategy built/selected by the user. Finally, TradingView also offers alerts for the lines drawn using the line drawing tool.

How do I view my alerts?

We do that with the ‘Alerts’ sidebar. To open that sidebar click on the ‘Alerts’ button in the right part of the TradingView window. There you’ll see the active alerts and log of alert messages: Each alert that appears below ‘Manage Alerts’ has a coloured dot before it.
